BetVictor launches new ad campaign starring Paul Kaye
Leading British comedian Paul Kaye was revealed as the latest celebrity to star in the new BetVictor advertising campaign that aims to promote the firm’s betting and casino services.
The most recent advertising campaign by the British bookmaker sees Kaye interact with BetVictor founder Victor Chandler himself. The theme of the campaign is that of one where “nothing should get in your way” and involves Kaye’s character “Maurice” harassing Chandler with a number of ideas for offers before Chandler advises “Maurice” to just visit the website and check out the offers they have.
The campaign has been produced by the VCCP Agency that won the contract after a four way pitch was set up for BetVictor to choose the best ad campaign in July.
Kaye rose to fame on the British comedy scene as bullish TV presenter Dennis Pennis and gained a reputation for his brash and shocking approach whilst interviewing celebrities and members of the public in the 1990s.
Previous BetVictor advertising campaigns have involved other comedy figures such as Paddy McGuinness. This new campaign will be released in print and on TV in the form of two 20 second adverts.
